Our class had an incredible opportunity to learn from Eastern Illini Electric Cooperative today, a company built on a foundation of community and service!

We gained insights into their mission of providing safe, reliable energy solutions and their inspiring history, starting in 1938 with the Rural Electrification Act. This act brought power to rural areas and led to the formation of Eastern Illini in 1987 through the union of two cooperatives.
